What You’re About To See Is Far From A Crazy Cat Lady. In Fact, It’s Absolutely Awesome.

Have you ever heard of the term “cat lady?” Usually this phrase has a negative connotation. Visualize a person who adopts way too many cats and ends up having too much focus on their kitties – that’s what a cat lady is typically supposed to be like. Someone with just a few cats can be called that term, but what about someone with over 700? Lynea Lattanzio has over hundreds of cats on her property… and a dozen dogs and a handful of goats. She’s not crazy, though. She is running one of the largest lifetime adoption cat sanctuaries, The Cat House On The Kings.

Over 700 kitties live at the sanctuary.

Since its founding 22 years ago, The Cat House on the Kings has saved over 24,000 cats and 7,000 dogs.

They have also spayed and neutered 40,000+.

This sanctuary for unwanted cats is being added to daily.

Lynea didn’t want to confine the cats to a small room, so she lets them roam.

All of these cats are available for adoption.

But if new families don’t want to take them home, they can spend their life at the Cat House.

Not only is this a home for homeless cats…

And an organization that is dedicated to help control the pet overpopulation…

But they also want to educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

The Cat House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, receives no government or public funding, and relies entirely on donations from the public to carry out its mission.

Without the shelter, these cats would be roaming the streets.

They wouldn’t know love.

Or regular meals.

They would have a rough life.

It takes a special person to be responsible for a pet…

But for hundreds?

Thousands?

The Cat House is doing wonderful work.

Saving the lives of over 24,000 cats is remarkable.

Even these kitties think so.

(And they’re not easily impressed.)
